Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 19 October 2026. This policy applies to every site hosted on Walakulu and forms part of our Terms of Service.
The short version
Host real websites for real people. Do not use Walakulu to harm, cheat or deceive anyone. If a site breaks these rules we may take it offline, and for serious cases we may close the account.
Not allowed on Walakulu
- Phishing pages, fake login screens, or sites that copy another business to trick its customers.
- Malware, crypto miners, or code that attacks other computers or networks.
- Scams, fake investment schemes, pyramid schemes, or fake shops that take payment without delivering.
- Content that sexually exploits children, promotes terrorism, or incites violence against people.
- Selling illegal drugs, weapons, or other goods and services that are illegal in Sri Lanka.
- Content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark, or private information about people published without their consent.
- Spam, including sites built only to send or advertise bulk unsolicited messages.
Fair use of resources
Plans are sized for normal business websites. Using a site mainly as a file locker, a video streaming service, a proxy or VPN, or running heavy background jobs can slow things down for everyone, so we may ask you to move to a suitable plan or service.
Security
Do not try to access other customers' sites or data, probe our systems for weaknesses without written permission, or get around plan limits. If you find a security issue, tell us and we will work with you to fix it.
How we enforce this
When we can, we contact you first and give you time to fix the problem. For content that puts people at immediate risk, such as phishing or malware, we take the site offline straight away and then contact you. We may report illegal content to the relevant authorities.
Reporting a site
If you see a site on Walakulu that breaks these rules, email abuse@walakulu.com with the address of the site and what you found. We read every report.
